A friend and I came here on the recommendation of a bartender from Verona who advised us where to find lactose-free/gluten-free options. The bar is located a 2 minute walk from Juliet's House, so obviously it is very busy, and above all it offers dishes that tend to be touristy, plus some classic Italian bar options.
The environment inside is very nice, small but well kept, there is also a small internal garden.
If you want to have brunch/lunch or dinner, especially at the weekend, book in advance. We went on a Sunday morning around 10.30am and were very lucky to find a place.
The kindness and willingness to prepare the dishes so that they respected our food intolerances were excellent, the service was a little less attentive and a little confusing, probably due to the confusion of the moment, but nothing serious (we asked for the condiments twice before they were brought to us, many tables around us waited a long time before being able to order, while other people who had recently sat down, as happened to us, were served immediately. Furthermore, having requested a gluten-free dish, I had asked for gluten-free bread, which however only arrived after half an hour and I had already finished eating).
I didn't find my dish (eggs and bacon) exceptional, simple and good but nothing more. My friend's protein pancakes were good, nothing special either.
Obviously, as already mentioned, it is a tourist place so prices are high.
