Elote Cafe

My group had dinner here a few weeks back and the service and food were both AMAZING! We had the corn crusted scallops, chorizo queso verde fundido, smoked pork cheeks and duck carnitas. Also noteworthy that the entire menu with the exception of one item can be made gluten free!! The prickly pear margarita and roasted pineapple mezcal were absolutely delicious!!!

Can definitely recommend this place. If you can't find a reservation online give them a call, since they have additional space at the bar. The food was good and they were very knowledgeable about gluten. The reason for only giving a 4 star review is that the cocktails, and especially the Margheritas were pretty bad. The bartender was just winging all the measurements, and even though my wife and I ordered exactly the same thing, both of ours tasted completely different. Mine tasted of not much other than tequila. I don't really blame the bartender because almost everyone was ordering cocktails and he was the only one making drinks.

Heaven on Earth! I am gluten and dairy free and I was pleasantly surprised that I could order from the majority of the menu. Adrian, the bartender, went over and above to make sure we comfortable. His margaritas were AMAZING! I kept thinking, this is too good to be true. We are going back tomorrow!
