Elsie's Diner

Wow, what a fantastic dining experience! Our family of 15 stopped by Elsie's Dinner on our way back from the cottage in Tobermory, and it was the perfect ending to our summer getaway. From the moment we walked in, we were transported back to the fabulous 50's - the decor, the music, and the friendly service all combined to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious, with something for everyone on the menu. From classic burgers and sandwiches to old-fashioned comfort food like meatloaf and macaroni & cheese, every dish was made with fresh, local ingredients and served with a smile. The portions were generous, and the prices were very reasonable - we loved that they offer a great meal at a price that allows families to dine out together without breaking the bank. We were impressed by the variety of options, including a great Seniors Menu and plenty of gluten-free choices. And the kids loved the Little Darlin's Menu, which came with a drink and ice cream sundae - what a treat! Our server was friendly and efficient, handling our large group with ease. We can't wait to come back to Elsie's Dinner again next year - it's become a highlight of our annual cottage trip.
