The coffee was amazing. They had gluten free bakery items from Sift Bakery, which was a nice surprise. I appreciate the kids play area.

What a great addition to Oakdale! To get quality roasted coffee, you previously really needed to travel to Stillwater or Mpls/ St Paul. We would make the trip to Claddaugh (St Paul), Up (Mpls), or Mon Petite Cheri (Stillwater)- to give you an idea of our espresso standards. So we were very eager to try Ember & Bean when they popped up! We had never been to their Hudson location. Fun signature beverages (The Thing and Lumber Jane have been our favorites). Warm, friendly, coffee-savvy baristas. Great dedicated gluten free bakery options from Sift (and non-gf). Huge seating area (shares a lobby with the condo units). Beans available for purchase (pricing about $2-4 cheaper than Up for the same quantity; $13 for Ethiopian). And best of all, HIGH QUALITY ESPRESSO. Definitely give it a try.
