Wow, just wow. I didn't think I'd ever find a good gluten free crepe, but low and behold, Empire Crepe exists. I've tried many different crepes with all different types of batter and they all have had a gritty texture or a taste that was starkly gluten free. Not Empire Crepe. Next time I drive through Kelowna (or anywhere nearby) I will make sure that Empire Crepe is one of the stops I make!

My first time visiting Empire Crepe and I definitely will now be a regular. We had two different savory crepes and one sweet and all were absolutely fantastic. All high quality ingredients and home made. Gluten-free and vegetarian options. With the food and decor, you are transported to a wonderful European cafe in downtown Kelowna. The owner, Brandy, is as talented as she is friendly. We had a taste of the homemade salted caramel and it was to die for. Monthly live jazz on Sundays so hope to catch it next time. Highly recommend.

The "gluten free" option is NOT CELIAC SAFE. I really wish businesses would stop doing this, there is no point in offering a gluten free option if you are going to be cooking it on the same surface as the regular ones! That is NOT GLUTEN FREE. I came to this cafe specifically because it said they had gluten free options and was disappointed because I could not eat it. Edit: I had to ask the staff about potential cross contamination. Picked up a couple of crepes for family, they said they were nice. The cafe is very quaint, and the person behind the counter was informative, friendly, and helpful.
