An Empire institution! I've been eating pizza here since the 90s. It was my 1st time back since 2001.
Bathrooms are clean and well maintained.
Shaq pinball, packman, and another console. I miss the jukebox. The pool tables are gone, but the little provisioning shop in their place is very charming.
Local ambiance is top-notch. Pure Michigan. Quick, friendly, competent service.
We had gluten full and a gluten free pizzas. They were delicious! Flavorful without being greasy. Fully cooked, not over or under. Generous, but not a ridiculous amount of toppings.
Very child friendly. Crayola crayons and coloring book pages were provided. They had booster seats and high chairs. I don't recall if there were changing tables in the ladies' room.
They had numerous local beers on tap. We had wine from the provisioning shop.
We had an excellent early dinner with 3 kids under 6. Thank you for Village Inn, not just for enduring and maintaining but striving for excellence!
