Enoteca Monza Pizzeria Moderna

Tonight was our second time at the restaurant. It was very good, but we were disappointed on a few points. The first time I was able to have the gluten-free pasta as an accompaniment and this evening I was told that it is made for me exceptionally, but not to expect to have this choice next time, because the pasta is pre-proportioned. I find that really unfortunate. The chicken was dry compared to last time, but it was still okay. The dessert menu says that gluten-free options are available, but on site we are told that this is an error and that there are none. It's a shame, because it gives false hope. Also, it would be nice to have some real nice parmesan considering the fact that it’s an Italian restaurant and still not cheap. A good restaurant, but which would benefit from reviewing its gluten-free offering.

I had a lovely evening at the Enoteca. Music was calming (appropriate for a more peaceful after work dinner, as opposed to the "trendy" restaurants nearby) Was served by Felicia, a bubly waitress, very friendly. She knew her menu well. I ordered Rapini, the gluten free penne and Alfredo, garlic bread au gratin, chicken karmesean (served with fries and grilled veggies) and a rugula salad with balsamic dressing. I also had the minestrone as an appetizer. Everything was very good. My inky criticism: I wasn't served bread with my soup (it wolf have been nice, I really wanted to see what there in house bread was like) and the salad could use a bit more parmesan, but that is evening very critical. It was 140$ with a generous tip, as I found the waitress accommodating, and hey, it's a pandemic. Life sucks. Why not help someone out a bit. We also finished the meal with tea, which was again a pleasant calming way to wrap up an outing. Thanks again to our waitress Felicia.
