I've been coming for years. My favorite place to get a sandwich! And gelato, of course. A few gluten free pastries baked daily, great tea selection, and good coffee. Not easy for large groups but great for small get togethers. Order ahead on their site or by phone. Really friendly staff ever time.

This is one of the better restaurants in Escondido. The owner knows about food and cares about quality not just profits, from the gelato to the sandwiches. Gluten free bread is an option.
