Excellent tapas meal for 4 at Espiral. We sat inside for the air con. Decor and atmosphere were really nice, a more formal setting than sitting outside, but still nice and relaxed and a holiday vibe. Our server was restaurant manager Albert who was brilliant. He clearly explained the menu, made allowances for a gluten free diner and definitely felt like he went the 'extra mile'. Food (we had 12 tapas dishes between 4 people) was also very good, with highlights including the mackerel, octopus, pork cheek croquettes, belly pork tacos and the potato cake with truffle and manchego custard. They also do a tasting menu and paellas for minimum 2 people, as well as breakfasts. It was our first night in Malta and really glad we stumbled upon this place on day 1, as I suspect we will be back!
