Evviva Trattoria Bedford

Late lunch for my family on a weekend and they were able to seat us immediately. The host was quick and kind. Brady, our server got to us right away and kept up with drinks, brought GF bread, was knowledgeable and had some good recommendations. We're 110 fans so we were eager to try this cousin restaurant as celiac/GF safety is important to us. Wings were cooked well though the sauce was a bit spicier than was expected.The GF pizza crust was amazing as was the GF focaccia. The farmhouse pizza was a bit mustard heavy, and my daughter found the BBQ sauce to be a bit spicy, but would order it again. The salad was slightly overdressed but not soggy. Overall a 4. We opted for the leaning tower of pisa dessert after Brady recommended it. While the flavor was great, it was heavy on the cannoli cream and could have been constructed in a more balanced manner. We envisioned a plated dessert with dollops of cream and things to dip into it piled high but it came out in a whiskey glass and the brownie was hidden at the bottom under all of the cream. We ended up tipping it out onto a plate to find more balanced bites. If we could have given our experience a 4.5 we would have. We had an attentive server and the atmosphere was great. Our items were safely brought out by a manager because of our allergies. The food was just a bit heavy handed but we will absolutely be back again.

Eileen was a delight as a server! A great spot for folks that eat gluten free- the chicken piccata and caramel cheesecake were among the best gluten free dishes I’ve had in a long time. Eileen really made the experience for us; we will be back!
