Excellent cafe in Canterbury where the mailing room used to be. Friendly, attentive service and a light, pleasant atmosphere. Food and coffee were both good and the menu had plenty of gluten free options. There is also a nice little function room upstairs. Parking can be a bit of a challenge, best to use one of the small off-street parking lots on the side-streets of Maling Road.

Drive past this place every week and been wanting to drop in for a try. Had little extra time this morn and decided to grab a coffee and gluten free brownie. Brownie fantastic - crispy exterior, moist chewy interior 👌 Was about to take sip of coffee when suddenly realised completely forgot to ask for lactose free milk 😳😂 Two girls on staff today (usually working at Ivanhoe location apparently) were really kind and accommodating, and was no issue at all to remake my coffee. Coffee very enjoyable. Premises has nice old-timey post office vibe (seems it used to be a post office in the past), with plenty of space and seating to catch up with friends. Can enjoy some sunshine sitting on the elevated verandah area out the front ☀️😌 Only rated one star less for atmosphere as I personally felt the inside of the cafe felt a bit too roomy. I'm not sure if it could be made a bit cosier somehow. Really not an issue though. Just my subjective opinion. Drop by and check em out!
