Famous foods is hands down the best little grocery store in Vancouver. And I say little bit it has everything you needs, has a bigger range of specialty goods (organic, gluten free, minimal packaging) then a lot of the bigger and more expensive stores. It’s quick to get in and do a shop and leave without feeling overwhelmed. Can’t say enough good things about this place. Family favourite through and through.

Still the best place for goat's milk dairy products and gluten free products, non-sulfured, unsweetened dried fruits, for organic meats, for bulk seeds and spices, and really good coffee. If you have food allergies of any kind, this place should be on your list of go-to places. I moved from East Van to Burnaby, to Surrey ....and for more than thirty years, Famous Foods has been my go-to for all my "special" food needs. Did I mention that their organic meats are really good. ...well, they are.
