Famous Toastery Blowing Rock

Beautiful restaurant. They sat us at a table with a rotting moldy pumpkin on it. The service was good. My friend was able to get gluten free bread with her eggs, by it seems they may have cross contaminated. She has a gluten allergy and afterwards had discomfort from the food.

While we had to wait a bit, our server, Amelia was phenomenal— I have celiac disease and she knew exactly what it was and made sure no cross contamination was in play. She was so sweet, despite how busy they were, she went above and beyond to make sure we were good and our food was safe. Ask for Amelia next time you’re in :)

Such a cute spot with friendly staff and delicious food! Brought our son for breakfast and it was the perfect place to go. Plenty of options on the menu whether you like classics or stuff more interesting. They also have good gluten free choices on the menu. Fun drink choices, too! Only here for one more day and may come back tomorrow just to experience lunch - that's how much we loved it!
