Famulari's Pizzeria: Oakbrook

amazing pizza!! this is my second time coming to this location, driving from Daniel Island even thought there is one on DI, the Oakbrook location it is by far the best of the Famulari’s in the area. I ordered a gluten free and NY style pizza and they are both always great. The crust is always perfectly cooked with perfect sauce to cheese to toppings ratio. Their balsamic glaze and garlic butter dip is delicious! Both of my orders were carry out but the atmosphere of the place felt incredibly welcoming and just like a pizza shop I grew up going to. Highly recommend this place!

Ok so first off .. Staff is SUPER friendly and helpful 😁☺️ Was greeted with a smile and a very nice demeanor and the gentleman happily helped guide me though my selection process. I'm gluten free so obvi got the gf crust. It's a pretty standard thin and crispy but they know how to handle it and it was cooked perfectly. The toppings and sauce hold a beautiful flow of flavor that makes the gf pizza crust very enjoyable. It was DELICIOUS all put together. When it comes to gf you occasionally get super lucky with a beautiful fluffy soft crust but that's hard to find and when it comes to the thin crust approach, many establishments fish out pizzas that taste like cardboard. This is not a concern here and they've done an amazing job with their flavor profiles. It's a traditional counter order pizza shop so the "atmosphere" is what you expect. But it doesn't matter, that's not why your going. It's delicious 😋 andddd very reasonable priced for a build your own gf pizza like what I got.
