Really good food and I trust their gluten sensitive options. I’m not celiac so I’m not sure what it’s like for celiac but being gluten sensitive, I feel comfortable dining here and haven’t had a negative experience. You should definitely ask for it to be prepared gluten free, though, if you have restrictions. I believe that’s necessary. The owner is really kind and welcoming and so are the staff. They work hard and provide great service. Everything we’ve had is delicious too. Not very expensive.

I was excited for having gluten free options. I got the sweet and sour chicken with fried rice. I knew the chicken would be grilled not breaded but when I received my order it looked like there was no sauce coating the chicken. Even the fried rice just looked like plain white rice with peas and carrots added. It tasted bland and was disappointing. I think a thicker sauce would improve the chicken at least.

I'm a newly diagnosed celiac. Most of the gluten free food blogs around town have high praise for Fan Tang. Honestly, my food was underwhelming. I ordered the sesame chicken, and it wasn't fried, it was basically boiled white meat chicken breast with sweet chili sauce on it. It didn't even have the sesame chicken flavor. My husband also ordered gluten free sweet and sour beef so I could try, and his was marginally better (the meat was velveted so at least his sauce stuck to it), but still not anything to write home about. This is not it, fam. Just because we can't eat gluten doesn't mean we should settle for subpar food. Stop letting people charge you $13 a plate for this. On the bright side, I didn't get sick. That's the only reason I even left any rating at all.
