4/16/25: breakfast with a friend. The outdoor seating area in this restaurant is borderline magical. Somehow, even though dozens of people are seated in this small space, it still felt like it was just the two of us. If the service was spotty, and the food just okay, the atmosphere would still somehow make this place excellent. But good news! The service is 4 out of 5 stars, and the food is scrumptious. There seems to be a small army of servers who somehow danced around the tight space, keeping water glasses full and checking on diners. I enjoyed a gluten-free omelette that surprisingly came with some regular bread. The server happily replaced it with gluten-free bread quickly. I also enjoyed French press coffee.
This is a busy restaurant, but I give them props for developing an efficient system regarding the waitlist and notification when the table is ready. They suggested a 35 minute wait, but it ended up being like 15. My tip is to not be afraid of a long line. You will probably be seated quickly, and a short wait is definitely worth it.
