Farm Bar Lakeview

It had been ages since I had been to Farm Bar. Overall a decent experience. The food was ok, but not amazing. A few detractors: Little to no gluten friendly options (or even ways to make something more friendly), fairly limited menu in general, crowded space, didn’t refill drinks unless prompted, a bit warm and loud inside. I also asked for regular butter for my kid’s toast and received honey butter. I didn’t realize it until she took a bite, so I had to ask for new toast and butter, which I unfortunately had to pay additional for. The prices weren’t crazy but also not inexpensive and coupled with the detractors and only mediocre at best meal, I would only return if a friend requested to go.

We went here for restaurant week and had an absolutely incredible experience. Our server was friendly and super helpful with celiac allergies. She even went to the kitchen to double check everything for us. All of the food we had was so delicious. Can’t wait to come back and try more of their menu!
