Fat Fish

Fat Fish is our favourite place to eat as a family. The fish is fresh and delicious, the chippies are the greatest in Sydney and my husband thinks they do the best burgers in the world. I’m especially happy because the chippies are gluten free and they do the perfect grilled snapper. I’ve never been accidentally poisoned there, even after four years of weekly visits. John and Manny and all the staff are great.

This is my favourite place to eat in all of Sydney. The food is delicious, and incredible value. Head down on a Friday or Saturday night and you get a real community vibe, too. The staff are universally friendly and make you feel really welcome. They’re also really allergy-aware, with gluten-free and dairy-free options available. The salads are fantastic, and they make literally the best burger I’ve ever had. Can’t recommend them enough.
