Popped back in for carvery, 18 months since last visit. Oh dear! So, meats gammon was good although towards the end of the joint and more fatty, to be expected. Turkey was good, moist and had flavour. The beef, was past pink and tough, not much flavour. Yorkshire pudding was soft and tough, hard to chew through. Kale was dry. Peas and carrots were Al denté. Roast potatoes were OK, not crispy but passable. Potato gratin was actually nice. Cauliflower cheese was liquidy roast parsnips were not roasted, nor cooked, they were actually crunchy! How? But the killer was the Gravy... both Vats, contained only can be described as a wallpaper paste consistency gelatinous brown gloop! It was identified as VEGAN and gluten free! Now fine, 1 vat caters for the vegan coeliac crowd, but, where's the delicious meat juice joy of the roast. It totally destroyed the meal. Will I come again absolutely not. Should you? Not if you're a roast lover of flavours. If going have something off main menu.

Had 2 large carvery, 2 drinks cost us £50 but couldn’t not eat it. The food was cold and very bland. The gravy was even worse. They only had vegan and gluten free gravy available which is just horrible . Could at least put a meat gravy on as an option for people with tastebuds Stuffing wasn’t even cooked and the Yorkshire pudding just tasted of dirty oil Absolutely gutted
