Outstanding gluten-free food! This spot is one of the best in Buenos Aires. Just a heads up: the service can be a bit slow, so be patient and enjoy the experience. Worth the wait!

First of all, I clarify that I am not a specialist in gluten-free desserts, but I do consume vegan (and non-vegan) pastries frequently. I see that many comments refer to the bad manners of the owner (or manager) of the premises or other details, I can only say in this regard that the lady, although she tried to be friendly, seemed to be stressed perhaps for fear of theft or for other reasons. reasons. I simply stopped by to buy a portion of carrot cake and once I placed the order, while I was waiting for it to be prepared, he repeatedly mentioned the price of the portion, as if I was going to leave without the order or run away. once he gave it to me. But all this is minor, the important thing is the carrot cake. Actually, I should call it carrot pudding, since it is known that a carrot CAKE has 2 or 3 separate layers with cream cheese (in addition to the frosting). On the one hand, the portion seemed very small to me and therefore expensive for the price, but this is secondary. On the other hand, the pudding was dry, and while I can understand that being gluten-free the consistency could be drier, this portion lacked the moisture of a good carrot cake. In addition, a good carrot cake has small filaments or pieces of carrot, giving it a particular texture not present in this piece of pudding. I understand that carrot cake is not a local dessert, but I think that a place that boasts of selling quality pastries should take good advice on the original recipe and make sure that the product reproduces it exactly (beyond whether or not it has gluten). , change the name and/or check that the pudding is not dry. Maybe the other desserts are exceptional, but I suggest avoiding the carrot cake.
