I chose this spot given all the reviews mentioning gluten free options, but the cafe must’ve changed hands or menus, because when I arrived there was only one menu option marked GF - the fritters. Staff did not know about coeliac disease and had to find the owner which took some time. The owner then advised the fritters were perfect for someone with coeliac disease. Some time after I ordered them, I was then advised the chef cannot guarantee they’re gluten free on that day in particular (?). Obviously very concerning given it was marked GF. The whole back and forth took so long, that my friends had already received their food. I ended up having to order expensive $17 plain eggs on plain gluten free toast, the only safe option - super disappointing.
