A very typical "seafood shack" in the outling areas of Savannah. It was pretty much what I was looking for; lots of fried seafood for my elderly mother's pallete as well as a grilled option for my gluten-free self.
My Mom really enjoyed the food and despite a very long drive home she took her leftovers home in a cooler. I however did not. The grilled mahi was just average, a tick overdone making it a bit dry and my cole slaw was just average. The sweet tea was too sweet for me, too, which was honestly kind of shocking as I tend to like my beverage on the sweeter side.
The fun, seaside shanty vibe and the fact that the spaces were nice and clean made up for the okay food ( just get the stuff fried if you can/ like.) My Mom was happy so, a solid four stars from me. :D
Oh, edited to add: the personal service was just fine, it was the counter-service method that I was rating the four stars on. You don't sit and wait for a waitress to take your order, you stand in line at a counter to place your order..
