Dinner service review update 08/17/2024: Sara’s new dinner service reminds me of going to cafe/bars in Italy where you could spend hours chatting with friends and neighbors while sipping on a drink, enjoying a few snacks, or ordering dinner from a full menu.
We ordered house made pickles, blue prawn aguachile, fried eggplant tostada and the fried dough.
The pickles were perfect- crisp, bright and refreshing. The blue prawn aquachile was nice and acidic without overpowering the other flavors in the dish. My only complaint about the eggplant tostada is that I could eat so many more of them- it was so tasty and so hard to stop eating considering it wasn’t my dish, but my partner’s.
The fried dough was so good that despite being very full by that point (and the prospect of walking home in a thunder storm looming over our heads), I almost placed a second order. I highly recommend requesting a side of dairy free whipped cream (Sara sources an amazing dairy free heavy cream) if it hasn’t been added to the menu yet. I included a picture of me post-storm as evidence of how willing we were to endure the downpour for this food.
We also ordered the coffee spritz (get this one!!), the rhubarb margarita, and the nectar of the gods. If my tolerance to alcohol was higher, I would have ordered more. Bartender Lucy always hits it out of the park!
The dinner service is Friday and Saturday and I highly recommend checking it out, especially while the patio is still open in the evenings during the summer! I look forward to going more often before the summer ends.

I have been several times before, but I decided to purchase a ticket to the February supper club and it was incredible! Chef Sara’s knowledge and expert use of local seasonal produce truly shines in all her menus, whether that is her evolving brunch menu or her seasonal supper club events. I highly recommend the tartine, a cocktail from the bartender/barista Lucy, and the gluten free French toast!
