At first, it didn't feel like a kid friendly atmosphere, but everyone who works here was very nice to my 2 year old. He likes it here. And the food here is GOOD! I will try coffee here soon!! Chicken and waffles for me and breakfast sandwich on a gluten-free dinner roll for him.

I was in Hartford for a few days for work and am so happy that I stumbled upon Fire x Forge. The tostones nachos and chicken wings were phenomenal, I'd go back to Hartford literally just for that. The staff was so hospitable, they honestly brightened my mood after a crappy day and they took my gluten allergy very seriously. The food and vibes are immaculate, just go check it out already.

Had one of the best dinners I've had in CT with some friends at Fire by Forge. Our server was Adrian (sp?) who was great, very funny, and very attentive. The mission of the restaurant is great so it feels good to support them. We came before the Taylor Tomlinson show and they have a pre-show menu if you're short on time which was awesome. They also had a gluten free menu which was much appreciated. Brussel sprouts and steak dish were otherworldly. Drinks were fun. The membership is very expensive, but if I lived directly in Hartford I would get it in a heartbeat because I would come here so much.
