I stopped in with my mentor tonight, and what an amazing place. The space is beautiful (the bar even has a fireplace!) and the whole setup makes you forget you're in one of those cookie cutter strip malls. I loved that.
When I sat down, I was immediately greeted by an excellent server whose name I have horribly forgotten. He was training someone, so it's clear the management knows how great he is, too.
My old fashioned and water arrived quickly, and I was so glad to get an incredibly well made old fashioned. If you've read my other reviews, you know I'm pretty traditional and judgemental about them!
We don't usually order dinner, but we did tonight. My mentor got this delicious looking spinach salad (no picture, sorry), and I got the lobster fondue salmon (I think that was the name...) with broccoli.
Our great server picked up a completely clean plate and even joked about me not liking it at all haha. Consider this when thinking of portions. The portions were not overly huge (though my mentor's salad was sizeable).
My mentor graciously bought me dinner, so I didn't see the bill and I honestly didn't pay close attention to prices when ordering because I like to treat myself on occasion. With all that said, I seem to remember appetizers being closer to $20 and meals being around $30, so keep that in mind when coming.
This place was absolutely great, though, and it's definitely one I would come to again!
I didn't ask about gluten free tonight, so I have nothing to report there.
