Good atmosphere and friendly service but I can’t give more than 4 stars due to the food. Some was lovely (eg the pork belly entre was devine) but some was really terrible - eg the duck was tough & I’ve never experienced tough duck before. The gluten free bread was toasted on the grill and looked great but tasted like charcoal as did the prawn entree. Maybe a bad hair day for the chef.

My wife had the duck and I had a steak, and both were just perfect. So tender and juicy. The creme brulee and Eaton mess we had for dessert were also excellent. Firegrill have a good range of gluten free options and the atmosphere was intimate even with a good number of patrons in the restaurant. Definitely recommend.
