Firehouse Subs Greer

My husband and I eat at the Greer firehouse all the time. We usually do pick up of 2 of the same gluten free subs. Yesterday we decided to go in and eat and the restaurant was super quiet when we walked in, the line of workers looked almost annoyed we were there. We got to the counter and the girl working there did not say hi..how are you. She just said “what can I get for you.” Fine. It was then when she asked if we had a gluten allergy and we said yes the gentleman beside her took off his gloves and huffed. I told them never mind it’s not worth it and we left. It’s minor, but I’m 7 months pregnant and these are the only subs I can eat. Just wish the service was better. They all look like they hate their job.

I am so grateful that Firehouse Subs finally has a gluten free option. Although the sandwiches are made on shared equipment, I have been able to enjoy the hook and ladder. I do take a gluten pill to help process the possible gluten interactions. The restaurant is very clean and the staff is welcoming.
