Firehouse Subs Seneca

I asked if they had an allergy process for celiac, and they said they did. I told them i was celiac so cross contamination is a big issue. Thankfully I watched them make my sandwich step by step. Attempt 1 they used the shared mayonnaise from the regular bread. Attempt 2 they were about to use the shared lettuce, but i caught them before. This is why I rarely eat fast food that is a chain restaurant. She did apologize, but nevertheless very disappointing. The sandwich itself was delicious, but if there is an actual process they either don't follow it correctly or it needs revamped quite a bit. Moral of this story, if you have any allergy be very cautious and advocate for yourself as much as possible.
