Firehouse Subs Stone Church Road

This is my own personal peeve about a “policy” only this location has. The guys making the sandwiches are awesome. The managing lady will not let the staff cut my gluten free sub in half! Ludicrous! They say they have this policy due to cross contamination but if you wash your knife and then cut it I am not understanding the issue? Instead I am handed a cardboard knife to cut it myself😂. Impossible….since these play knives do not cut. If I’m the customer. And I’m the one with celiac willing to suffer if there is by chance cross contamination, shouldn’t you just wash your knife and cut my sub? Every other location cuts it if I ask. Wash the knife….then cut. Problem solved. Customer happy.

My first visit here and all I can say is YUM , seriously delicious subs . I had the gluten free bun which was one of the best I've had so far , and chose the veggie sub , which was excellent . My mom had the large roast beef which she thoroughly enjoyed . More expensive than your other sub shops , but definitely worth it !
