Firehouse Subs West Rd at Allen

Was just in and unfortunately could not eat there comfortably as someone with celiac. Amazing that they have a gluten free sub bun, but highly disappointed that they use all the same ingredients on the same line. I was told they would change their gloves but the ingredients have been touched with gluten as they grab the regular bread then the ingredients from the line. I asked if there were clean ingredients/ a separate line in the back but unfortunately there isn’t. Just an fyi if anyone has celiac as well! The staff was super nice and helpful to answer my questions though, just disappointed I couldn’t eat there safely. Everyone raved about the bun but unfortunately it is not safe for celiac disease.

This firehouse sucks. They never have gluten free bread and never answer the phone.
