First & Last Tavern Plainville

I was just at First and Last in Plainville this afternoon. I ordered the double cheeseburger and being gluten intolerant asked to have it in a lettuce wrap and to have the second burger on the side to take home. Our server offered to have it put in a to go box and also advised that the fries are made in a shared fryer with gluten foods. When she brought our food out my food was beautifully plated and instead of just a burger in a box, it was on a bed of lettuce with fries in the side! She also told me that the chef said one of the fryers had not been used yet so he made my fries in that one! I know it may not sound like much but it was huge to me! He went above and beyond so that I was assured a safe meal. I only wish I had the names of the server and chef. Both did an outstanding job!

Great pizza, great salads, and a preferable place for gluten-free pizza.
