First Watch

Food was awesome with a lot of gluten-free vegan and vegetarian choices! It was packed but we only had a 15 min wait! Service was excellent!

I recently visited the First Watch at 3059 Oak Valley Dr, Ann Arbor, MI. I've been to many First Watch locations, but this one stood out, unfortunately, due to a poor experience. Whenever we dine out, we always ask about gluten-free options, ensuring they can make the dish gluten-free. It's become a habit to double-check when our food arrives by asking if it’s gluten-free. Today, we ordered avocado toast with gluten-free bread. When our order arrived, my husband asked if it was gluten-free, and they confirmed it wasn’t, so we had to wait for his new order before we could start eating. We had also ordered donuts as an appetizer, but they didn’t arrive until after we finished eating, making them more of a dessert than an appetizer. Additionally, we ordered three identical pancake dishes, but one of them was missing bacon and eggs, while the other two had them. We're not sure if it was our waiter or the kitchen that messed up our entire order.
