First Watch

Friday morning at brunch time with hubby and my daughter. She got the biggest pancake I’ve ever seen and equally delicious per her and my husband. He and I got the Traditional breakfast - mine was Gluten Free (Celiac) with the million dollar potatoes — oh my those are so Yummy!! No gluten reaction so we’re thinking of heading back tomorrow. Also, extra points for our waitress,Jocelyn, who was literally jogging to prevent people from waiting too long for anything. She was always pleasant and unrushed. We will be back soon and hope Jocelyn takes care of us again.

I do enjoy first watch a lot- the only thing that completely threw me off was today we were having breakfast for my MIL bday and she asked for GF bread she’s a severe celiac. And when our server brought her food she immediately noticed the bread wasn’t GF and mentioned it to him. Instead of taking it back, he legitimately sticks his hands in her food and picks the bread up and goes OK HERE YOU GO! And I hate complaining but you don’t put your hands in other peoples food, and then we said she can’t eat anything off the plate with the gluten. And we’re not people who complain at all. He was nice but the service could have been a lot better and him Putting his hands in our food was just shocking.

Had a lovely breakfast here. Chastity took great care with my grandmother who has severe gluten and dairy allergies. I was so appreciative of the extra time and attention she took to ensure we had no issues.
