First Watch

My husband had been raving to me about First Watch in Asheville. This location was my first experience. It was a Sunday morning @ 10 am & the restaurant was EXTREMELY crowded! We were fortunate as a party of two and were seated quickly. We ordered, and breakfast arrived within 15 minutes which I felt was great. I had the Traditional Breakfast and was pleased that gluten free toast was available. The food was high quality and very good. Our server was great as well. The only complaint I have about this establishment is that the tables are jammed so close together. Where we were sitting, you could actually disturb and bump into people at the next table. You had to strategically sit. I left my seat to use the restroom and when I got back, a different party had been seated next to us. It was impossible for me to get back to my seat he was so close to my chair. I had to reach over the table to collect my belongings. It was very uncomfortable sitting this closely to other patrons throughout the meal. I will probably not be back to this location, as we were traveling, but I will try other locations, and hope the seating is much better.

Everything was delicious and it's one of the few places in town where they offer gluten free and ask if it is an allergy. There are so few places I can eat out, this is one that gives me a few delicious options. I have had their gf French toast and their ham and gruyere sandwich and both have been wonderful.
