First Watch

Our server was fantastic! The food was likely great. I eat a vegan and gluten-free diet so I only got the fruit bowl (which was delicious) but I'm not clear on what other options were available for me. The atmosphere was good enough-kinda loud and crowded and the voices all echoed around the room. Parking was a bit of a nightmare but after driving around the entire parking lot 5 or 6 times, I landed a spot near the front door. Overall, a positive enough experience. I would go back if a friend preferred but I wouldn't pick the spot myself.

I always thought Egg and I was annoyingly country and reminded me of Denny's. First Watch is more hip, the food was great, and the service was better than Egg and I. Most of the wait staff is the same, but I think they redoubled their efforts, so good on them. We had a party of four and didn't have to wait. I missed the gluten free pancakes, but they now have gluten free toast, which they were willing to turn into French toast for me.
