First Watch

Will not be returning to this location. I went to first watch with a friend to catch up before I went to the doctor. I asked the server to give me gluten free bread for my breakfast. The food came out with bread but with gluten. The server apologized and said she would fix it. The manager then preceded to come over and tell me that next time I needed to let the server know of the gluten issue. I looked at him and asked why he automatically assumed I didn't. He then said it wasn't on the ticket and presumed that I am at fault.I told him it was their mistake and I informed the server of my dietary needs. I would also like to point out, why wouldn't I let someone know of my dietary needs when ordering my food. After the explanation of me expressing my dietary needs, he explains hewill get me a new plate. After I receive my food like 30 minutes after waiting for it to be fixed....I received a bill with the full amount and no apology. I paid it and went to the bathroom. After I left the bathroom the manager approached me and asked if everything was ok. I explained it wasn't and that the bill was the full amount with no apology for the incident. He said he was busy and gave me some card to return. I will not be returning and I am deeply disappointed in the lack of care/respect given to paying customers.

In the words of my 6 year old upon leaving the restaurant : “Well, that was delicious”. They have a gluten free roast beef sandwich that is to die for. Amazing
