First Watch

The menu was fantastic, and I was excited to see they offered gluten-free toast! While there weren’t gluten-free markers on the menu, the staff was knowledgeable and very accommodating, which made a big difference. One thing to note: the menu includes calorie counts, which some people might find controversial or have strong opinions about. I absolutely loved the Kale Tonic fresh green juice, and the Million Dollar Bacon truly lived up to its name—so good! I also tried a couple of the alcoholic drinks (the Lavender Lemonade and Cinnamon Toast Cereal Milk). While they were tasty, they were on the weaker side, served in small glasses with a lot of ice. The atmosphere was vibrant and busy, but still quiet enough to hold a conversation comfortably. Service was decent, especially considering how packed it was. All in all, I’ll definitely be returning!

I placed my order for pick up. I went to pick it up when it stated it was going to be ready on the email. I go in and the hostess says that my food is in queue and should be out soon. Still no food and 30 minutes later someone came out and said my food was taken. Not sure how this is possible if my food was not made yet. I waited 40 minutes extra for a pick up order during my work lunch break. My coworkers and I will never order take out again from here. Also, when I left, I asked to double check to ensure that the bread was gluten free as ordered, but they would not check and acted like it was an inconvenience that I asked although I just waited an extra 40 minutes for a take out order. Unreal.
