First Watch

Our daughter has a dairy and gluten allergy, our waitress was the KINDEST human ever. She triple checked that my daughter wouldn't get any dairy or gluten in her food. She went above and beyond and even gave my daughters stickers when we left. Not only was the food delicious but they took care of us so well.

***ALLERGY OVERSIGHT*** I was really disappointed by my recent experience at First Watch. My sister and I clearly informed our server that we both have gluten and dairy allergies. Despite that, there were serious oversights in how our meals were prepared. After a very long wait, my sister’s eggs were served using the liquid egg mix—which contains dairy—even though we specifically asked for real, dairy-free eggs. My meal looked fine at first, but I later realized my sandwich had cheese hidden inside, which I didn’t catch until I had already eaten half of it. As someone with a dairy allergy, that means I’m now bracing for a very uncomfortable few days. I am also pregnant. The manager did come over and offer to comp our meals, which we appreciated, but none of the other meals at our table were covered or discounted despite the ruined experience for everyone. Bottom line: if you have food allergies or sensitivities, be extremely cautious at this location. Mistakes like this can be dangerous, not just disappointing. I highly doubt I’ll ever return.
