First Watch

First time trying this location, but I’ve been to other First Watch franchises. I find it pretty good value for what you get. We came around lunch time on a Wednesday so there wasn’t a wait. Our server was fantastic - super friendly, very polite, checked in on us regularly. I’d give the service a 5/5! Food was good too. I love that they offer gluten free bread. I’d give bonus stars if they could great gluten free pancakes, waffles, or muffins. They also offer oat milk, which I appreciate. I got the turkey club sandwich on GF bread. I did ask for cheese on the side (I have a dairy allergy) but it came with cheese on, but the server quickly fixed it. I do wish in such situations they’d leave the rest of the food so I can start eating that while they re-make the sandwich. The remade sandwich wasn’t presented as well, it seemed rushed, and I’d opine for more avocado on it. Also ordered a side of the potatoes which were a tad on the salty side. Cold brew coffee was good. Note they only serve drip or cold brew coffee, so no lattes. My mentor ordered one of the fresh juices which she said was good! She also got the you pick 2 - a salad and tomato basil soup. And she ordered an ala carte pumpkin pancake. They were out of sugar free syrup. I would come back. They have an extensive menu with many selections.

A cut above your generic chain breakfast spot, First Watch offers fresh juices and gluten free toast options. The staff is professional and efficient. My meal, healthy turkey, was underwhelming but got the job done.
