Stopped here (at the cafe) on an intercity bus for lunch. I had a very tasty burger (massive actually), packed with tasty salad and delicious tomato chutney. The beef patty was juicy and very nice. Fries were included, and with a gluten free bun it came to $21 (great price for NZ). All around a really good meal, and very friendly staff.

Stopped by this lovely place on the bus to Rotorua. Thought since it’s in the middle of nowhere it wouldn’t be so popular but it was live with energy. I thought this might make the meal wait time a lot longer but they got our burgers to us in 15 minutes after ordering, which is incredible. We shovelled these burgers down our gullets like staving seagulls. I had the Corn and Capsicum burger, with a gluten free bun. Most places the gluten free bun is thick, dry and hard, but this bun was nicely thin, very moist and flavourful. The burger it’s self was also very moist and flavourful. I eat a lot of burgers at random restaurants, and it’s hard to find a vegan, gluten free burger but this burger is the best burger I have ever eaten. This burger was so good I’m writing a review for it, and I NEVER write reviews. THANKS FLATHILLS
