Fletcher's served up one of the best dinners we had in our whole trip. Highly recommend the venison steak. There are plenty of gluten free options and the staff are extremely helpful. Special mention to Stuart and John, they were incredible. Service with a smile, very efficient and gave us some great recommendations for things to do in Stirling.

Was visiting Stirling and decided to go here for lunch based on the good reviews they had. Can honestly say I have never been more disappointed in a restaurant before. We ordered off the market menu (2 courses for £16.95 with a £3 supplement for steak). I am gluten free and there was limited starter options for me and none that I liked as I am quite a fussy eater therefore I just wanted a main but was told i could not do this, therefore I just ordered a starter anyway. No one came over at all throughout the whole meal to check if our food was okay (despite the fact that my starter had not been touched). Ordered steak frites for main and the steak was very poor quality. Ordered my medium and came barely cooked, when i complained and sent it back it came out completely over cooked and the chips had gone cold from sitting on the plate. Despite the fact we had sent our meal back the waiters still did not even come past to ask if it was okay. The steak was awful quality - just fatty and chewy and had no taste. When asked for the bill we were told they had taken discount off the food but no apology was made. Bad food and even worse customer service definitely won't be back.
