Flora North Park

My best friend and I came to Flora for breakfast and coffee. It's difficult to see from the street but trust the GPS. We sat inside since it's a little windy, and it's a lovely location. The Atmosphere: It's loud. Like you have to lean in to hear the person across from you, loud. I'm not opposed to a rowdy vibe however, I was expecting something more lowkey. The music playing adds another layer of sound to fight through. This isn't the worst, but something to consider. The theme is cute, but I'd love for them to lean into it even MORE. I want vines and flowers on every inch of the interior, flowers in the drinks, and a smell of a garden inside. A fully immersive experience! The Food: I ordered the American Breakfast with gluten-free toast, scrambled eggs, pototoes, and extra crisp bacon. An American Breakfast is pretty basic, but with my food restrictions im limited. They understood the assignment with the extra crisp bacon and I appreciated that. It was very crispy, but not burnt. The potatoes seem deep fried, which isn't my favorite way to have a breakfast potato and the seasoning could be a little heavier. Overall a solid dish though. I also had 2 lavender lattes with oatmilk, obviously they were great lol The Service: The staff was very warm and welcoming. We had Luca as our server, and he was absolutely amazing! He is knowledgeable about the menu and checked on the ingredients for me when he was unsure. That goes a LONG way when you have allergies. I didn't feel like a burden. Thanks Flora, I'll be back ❤️
