My fiancé and I were visiting San Antonio in April for the eclipse and had dinner at Fogo de Chao for the first time. Staff were wonderful and welcoming from the moment we walked in. The servers treated all of the tables as their own. A special thank you to the manager who was kind enough to bring me the allergen list and go through item by item with me as I have celiac disease. Avoiding gluten while eating out can be daunting but she made me feel confident and safe. The food was delicious, the salad bar had multiple options and there was never a shortage of meat coming to the table. We felt very special at the end when we were surprised with a crème brûlée. We would 10/10 recommend and hope to go back someday.

First time trying this steakhouse. It was soooo much better than another of the downtown Brazilian steakhouses. Their salad bar had many delicious choices. Due to dietary restrictions, I don't eat the meats, but my husband and daughter do. Their go-to were the lambchops and the filet mignon. They had good flavors. I loved their candied bacon and the black beans with sausage over steamed rice. Their fruit selection had dragon fruit, papaya, which I had a chance to try. Food wise, everything was on point. My daughter asked about glutenfree options. Our waiter brought out a list of foods with allergens. This was so helpful, and we were very thankful to have this assistance. Thankfully the cheese breads are glutenfree. There is a parking garage half a block in front of the restaurant. It was a very pleasant experience. We will definitely go back again.

Excellent service. Lizette attended me very well and made sure my food was gluten free. She made my day by having the servers being me some delicious beef ribs. Glad I came.
