Visited this place as there was a lot of buzz around it and was recommended by a few people I knew. The food was good quality and great taste but the portions were dismal and hence I felt it wasn't value for money. I understand that they market it as an Asian tapas but I really don't see that concept flying here as we Indians love our Chinese food and we do have a habit of sharing especially when you go as family. The small plates were really tiny. We had the salmon ceviche which tasted great but a little different that what I expected. The pork belly was delicious but again too small a portion to really enjoy similar case with the pink pepper prawns. The main course portions were of normal size at par with what you would expect . We had the la yu ba mien noodles which is must try , the egg fried rice , sliced chicken in foo chilly oil . We ended the meal with their black sesame cheese cake which was out of this world. Not too sweet and hit the right spot. I'll probably go back to taste the brunch menu .. might be better value for money What I did appreciate is that they had a separate menu for - Jain and gluten free.

An unplanned lunch visit to Foo Bandra turned out to be a good one. Even tho I didn’t book and the restaurant was fully occupied, the staff manage to get an outdoor table for us. The menu was decent; it even covered Jain and gluten free food, suits those who are seeking for that. I ordered a few dishes - nigiri, sushi, crispy cheung fun (rice noodle roll) and rice. I was pleased to see the food arrived fairly quickly. The prawn cheung fun was waaay better than spinach. The spinach could be better (perhaps combined with a protein not on its own). The sushi and nigiri were good. The ceramic serving plates and platters were gorgeous. The chopstick wasn’t that great; too long and hard to grip for those who are beginners. If I would to compare this place to another Asian restaurant e.g. Asia kitchen by mainland China, this would be my choice even tho it’s a bit pricer and further than where we intend to travel.
