We visited this restaurant because it advertises that it can accommodate gluten-free options. I chose a dish marked “GF” on the menu and asked the server to make it gluten-free. She immediately replied, “No, we can’t do that,” which caught us off guard because of the way it was said. I mentioned that the menu indicated gluten-free options, and she went to check with the kitchen. When she returned, she confirmed that my dish could indeed be prepared gluten-free. As someone who cannot eat gluten, I didn’t feel fully safe because the staff didn’t seem to be aware of what gluten-free means. As such, even if the kitchen was using safe practices, the front line staff could cause cross contamination. Since the restaurant promotes gluten-free accommodations, I hope the team can receive clearer guidance and training on handling these requests. I would have liked to share this feedback with a manager, but they were unavailable at the time. The food itself was good, and the atmosphere was pleasant and nicely decorated. The portions were a little small, but overall, I enjoyed the meal. I’d be happy to come back if the staff can be clearer and more confident about food restrictions.

Yum and yum ! Went for my daughters Birthday, as she wanted the gluten free dumplings (she is celiac) They we aware and took care no cross contamination. I loved everything we had! Will be back again…Miigwech for the great dinner!
