Start to finish, this was an exceptional experience. If you are looking for top-tier fine dining, look no further. Perfect for date night, anniversary, a group celebration, or any excuse to enjoy good food in unique surroundings. We didn’t come here for any special occasion, but from now on, this will be high on our list of Special Occasion Locations. Because the tables are in separate rooms, you feel like you are a VIP no matter where they seat you. Very intimate, very romantic. Our server was exceptional. The food was delicious across the board, and there was an abundance of gluten-free options. I was not expecting that. I had the lamb and my husband had the beef wellington. Our entire evening here exceeded my expectations. We will definitely be back.

My disclaimer with this review is that I haven't had many small plate, elegant meals in my lifetime. Less than 5 of them, I'd say. That said, I looked up great 'date places' and found Forepaugh's. My husband and I went for my birthday last night and had a very lovely experience. I had the greens salad and he the soup for first course, we split a second course of the pineapple shrimp, he had the cornish hen breasts and I the scallops, and we shared a side of asparagus. I had gotten a French 75 and he, a glass of Riesling (we ended up splitting another glass of Riesling it was so good). With exception of the salad, which was simply a good salad, the rest of the food was amazing. I savored every bite and we looked at each other with each bite and appreciated the entirety of the courses. The ambiance was perfect - great lighting, not very loud but enough sound that it wasn't weird, and the server was very nice in dealing with my husband's celiac disease. We had no problems. They brought me out a complementary birthday bananas foster, which was awesome. I would say that the prices are quite expensive. Only three scallops (larger ones, admittedly), for $27. The wine was AWESOME and was only $8 a glass. Honestly, the drink prices were pretty reasonable. We dropped $130 on this meal and had a great two hour experience. We will go back for special occasions for sure. It's a lovely place, with lovely service and the food was exceptional. I recommend it for a nice night out - you'll get that here for sure.
