Been working in this area a few years and wish I found this place sooner! It's pretty hard to find vegan and gluten free food in the area, but the vegetable plate ($13.99) is exactly what I've been looking for. The vegetables were really good. I opted not to get the cornbread that comes with it, so I can't speak to its taste or gluten free-ness. I love that they are not cooked with meat. Thank you! This is definitely more of a takeout place, but good service is not lacking. The woman who took care of me was kind and helpful. The atmosphere was just fine. There are tables inside if you'd prefer to dine in, and parking was available in the lot outside. I look forward to coming back!

It felt like walking into the living room. Everyone chatting and catching up. Friendly, family. And then we ordered and it felt like walking into grandmas kitchen. “Getchyou some more”. You all of the sudden feel like maybe you do, in fact, have a hollow leg and would like to fill it with this goodness. I got the two dark pieces of baked chicken- so well seasoned and tender it stands up and melts at the same time. The platter came with rice and choice of two sides. I got black eyed peas. And I always have to check on people’s greens- so I ordered them. So, I’m not mad about it, but their greens are better than mine. It’s rare. It actually made me laugh. It was my first bite on the whole plate bc we all know greens are best hot. I laughed bc I knew the rest was going to be good. And yes. Yes it was. I cannot speak for the cornbread muffin bc I’m gluten free- and I also asked them to hold the gravy that comes with the chicken. But if I were betting today, I’d bet it was just as good as everything else.
