Forty Six Coffee Shop

Lovely place for a coffee of a morning. My family have been multiple times as they have a gluten free menu and selection of coffees, syrups and a nice cosy Harry Potter meets Halloween meets 1950s atmosphere with many comfy armchairs of tables and chairs if just sitting for coffee and papers or a bite to eat. Last visit was around £20 for 2 coffees, an apple juice, a gluten free bacon roll and a ham and cheese toastie/panini with salad. Its good quality amd not shy with the bacon either. We visited mid morning on a rainy Saturday and there were plenty of seats available. There is outdoor seating (both at the entrance and in the garden to the rear) when the weather is amenable.

What a delight to discover this place by chance! So refreshing to have a good selection of gluten-free options, both sweet and savoury - thank you! Lovely atmosphere and much bigger than it looks from the outside, with more space further back and to the side as well as a delightful little garden. Only downside was having to pay 50p extra fro soya/oat milk - but still couldn't go down to 4 stars as everything else was so good.
