got a nice iced tea and gluten-free peanut butter cookie, but one of the baristas serving was really abrupt and rude. my 73-y-old father asked for milk for his coffee politely and she slammed it down on the counter out of nowhere. Wouldn’t make eye contact with either of us and just seemed like she was in a really bad mood which can happen, but if you’re in the service industry… It feels weird, no? truly miffed us both. grew up in this area and grateful that this spot exists, but hopefully there’s an alignment on what customer service looks like, even if you’re having a bad day.

I have known this was here for years (somehow on the email list) and haven't stopped by since I no longer live in town. Stopped here after Mass at St. Mary's and was blown away but the cute Christmas gifts for sale (it's December) and pretty good chai tea latte. The gifts were so cute that I plan on stopping back here again soon. I want to try more of their gluten free treats. The staff was all smiles as well.

I was in Port Jervis for the Fireman’s parade and needs a quick latte and a snack to eat. They had one slice of Vegan-Gluten free carrot cake left. OMG! Was this not the BEST carrot cake I’ve ever had!! One of the girls who works there makes it in house and she knocks it out of the park! Grand slam! If I lived closer, I’d be there everyday getting a piece of this deliciousness!! I can’t do most dairy and finding a VGF Carrot Cake was like winning the lottery. On top of this, Foundry 42 has such a warm and elegant atmosphere. I sat down with my latte 😋 and Carrot cake and enjoyed my stay. They have some really neat products to purchase if you’re in the mood for shopping and their bathrooms are impeccable! I had to change out of my parade uniform into fresh clothes and was in awe at how clean they kept the bathrooms! Very spacious and the floors in then bathroom were like nothing I’ve ever seen before. The girls that were running the store were very sweet and inviting. Keep up the great work! 💕
