Franco Manca Greenwich

Our recent visit left us very disappointed. We chose Franco Manca specifically because their website states that gluten-free options are available. However, when we arrived, and after a long wait to be served, the waitress informed us that although gluten-free dough is an option, the kitchen cannot guarantee there is no cross-contamination, and therefore they do not serve coeliacs. This was incredibly frustrating and upsetting, especially as we had a family member with coeliac disease with us, and had relied on the information provided on their website to make a safe dining choice. If the gluten-free options are not suitable for coeliacs due to cross-contamination risks, this needs to be made absolutely clear online. Right now, it is incredibly misleading. We would have never have come all this way if we had known that it wouldn't be safe for our friend to eat anything, and it really affected the experience for our whole group. I hope this is taken seriously and the website is updated accordingly, as this kind of misinformation can have serious consequences if we had not clarified with the staff at the restaurant.

Great service, we were here during Friday afternoon and got greeted, seated, served and finished in about an hour. Had a lovely gluten free pizza and Abdul who served us gave on the house dessert! Very happy 🫶
